Quilt Show by Mainly Modern Quilt Guild
The show will run at the Gladwyne Library from February 1st through February 28th. The gallery is on display during the libraries hours of operations. The reception will be on Thursday, February 2nd from 5 to 7pm.
February is chilly, come and explore how contemporary quilting warms our hearts & our bodies! All activities are free and open to the public.
The opening reception will be Feb. 2 from 5-7 pm.
Feb. 8th: 6-8pm Quilt Guild Meeting & Hari Kuyō Needle Ceremony - Bring your dull pins/needles/scissors and retire them with respect.
Feb. 16: 6-7:30pm Philadelphia Museum of Art Lecture by conservator Bernice Morris, Associate Conservator of Costume and Textiles who will speak on Batiks and Dutch Print African fabrics. She will also follow up with a Q&A on how to best conserve your quilts for future generations
