How do you add beauty to your garden and also support a healthy ecosystem?  By using native plants, you support birds, insects and much more. Join Julia Lo Ehrhardt as she introduces you to native plants that will do well in most home landscapes. She will also cover gardening routines that would help you to reduce weeding time and enjoy your garden more. This program will be hosted virtually on the Zoom platform. 

 

Julia Lo Ehrhardt is the Community Engagement Director at Tyler Arboretum and leads the team of communicators, programmers, gardeners, and volunteers in reaching multiple audiences. Julia has over 30 years of experience in the public garden field which includes directing the Anderson Japanese Garden, directing the School of Professional Horticulture at the New York Botanical Garden, and managing outdoor horticulture at Baywood Greens and Longwood Gardens. Julia was also the Director of Visitor Experience at Mt. Cuba Center where she managed the tour programs and visitor services. Julia earned a B.S. in Ornamental Horticulture from the University of British Columbia and a M.S. in Public Horticulture from the University of Delaware, Longwood Graduate Program.
