BELMONT: Building Habitat at Home -- Why Native Plants Matter and How to Get Started
Bring life to your landscape by learning about the most ecologically important plants for birds, butterflies, bees, and other insects. Get tips to incorporate beautiful and easy-care species in your own space by converting former lawn areas, and leave with new ideas for stewarding your land for pollinators, toads, fireflies, and the unseen web of life.
This program will be presented by Michelle Detwiler, a PLNA Sustainable Landscape Certified native plant consultant, ecological planting designer, educator, and engaged community member.
