Gladwyne - Days of Darkness: Civilians of Gettysburg (Michael Jesberger Lecture Series)
In the summer of 1863, a small town in Adams County, PA and its 2400 civilians settled in for another quiet season. The town they called home…Gettysburg. The name alone still leaves an impact today. When two massive armies clashed there to do battle, it forever changed the landscape. For 3 days, they engaged in some of the bloodiest fighting of the civil war. Join military historian and lecturer, Michael Jesberger, for a presentation on that terrible battle and its aftermath as experienced by those that lived through it.
