In this fun, interactive workshop, rising high school seniors and their parents or guardians will learn the limitations of using ChatGPT (and other A.I) to write a successful college admissions essay. You'll also learn the one thing A,I. could be helpful for. And you'll generate ideas for your own essay, get practical tips, and learn the pitfalls to avoid.
ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR: Nimisha Ladva has taught writing for more than 20 years at Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, and Haverford colleges and is an experienced college essay writing consultant. She's also an internationally broadcast and award-winning storyteller. You can hear her stories on The Moth on NPR and BBC Radio 4, and on PBS, on Stories for the Stage. She is on Google's list of providers for storytelling workshops for start-ups. She knows that the best stories connect people, build community, and open doors to new opportunities. She loves to show people how to make storytelling work for them.
