Gladwyne - Insect Exploration

Riverbend educators will visit with our Insect Exploration program. What makes an insect an insect? Through hands-on exploration, movement and pretend play, students learn about the characteristics of insects, their life cycle, and what makes our creepy crawly friends so unique. The lesson concludes with an encounter with some of Riverbend's Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches.
