BELMONT: Summer Swaps - Books
Come to Belmont Hills Library for the second iteration of our Summer Swap Series! These community swaps involve donating items ahead of time and then finding something to take home with you on the day of the event, free of charge. They are a great way to save money, lower waste, and spend time with your neighbors!
For our second Summer Swap, the key item will be books. Please donate a maximum of 5 books to Belmont Hills Library by no later than Saturday, July 19th. Here are some guidelines to follow when picking what books to donate:

DO NOT donate books that are broken, ripped, or damaged. Books should look no worse than lightly used.

DO donate books that are new and popular or obscure and interesting. You never know what your neighbors will be excited by.

DO NOT donate any kind of manual or how-to guides. These are often quite specific and apply to small numbers of people.

DO donate books of all genres. We’re hoping everyone can find something they want to read.

DO NOT donate books for audiences younger than 12 years old.
On the day of the event, all donated books will be displayed in the meeting room for everyone to browse. Take as many items home with you as you donated!
