Ages 5-10

As part of Community Read 2025 with Longwood Gardens, we will be reading The Extraordinary Gardener by Sam Boughton.  

After the story we will be decorating our own plant pots and planting seeds to take home.  

Registration required.  Please register each child who is attending separately under the CHILD’S name.   

This program repeats.  Please only register for one program.  

As a reminder, per LMLS policy, if the child attending the program is under 11 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the building during the program.  If the child attending is under 6 years old, an adult caregiver must remain in the room during the program.

No Show Policy:

Due to the number of no shows, Penn Wynne Library has implemented the following policy: Not showing up to a program, (without cancelling your registration) will have you placed on a wait list for a future program.  If on the day before the program there is still space, you will be placed back on the registration list.  We understand that things happen but when people register and do not show up, it sometimes keeps other people from being able to attend, or it wastes money on supplies that are not used.  Thank you for understanding.
