ARDMORE: Indigo Shibori Dyeing Activity for Teens - THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED AND RESCHEDULED to 8/3
If you love tie-dyeing, level up your folding and dyeing skills using the Japanese method called Shibori, which traditionally uses indigo dye. Learn a bit about the history of Indigo dye that comes from plants, and then jump into folding and tying techniques that range from easy to more complex. A cotton tea towel and canvas tote bag will be provided and you can bring another white cotton or silk item in case there is extra dye. Ages 12 and up. Registration required. The program is scheduled for two hours but could end earlier.
