Gladwyne - Total Solar Eclipse Viewing
Join the Gladwyne Library Staff at Gladwyne Park entrance (980 Merion Sq Rd) for a viewing of the Total Solar Eclipse. We will hand out solar eclipse glasses and enjoy Solar Eclipse activities and crafts. Bring a blanket or something comfortable to sit on. Viewing starts around 2:08 p.m., and the full view is around 3:20 p.m.
The total phase of this solar eclipse is not visible to us, but it can be observed as a partial solar eclipse. The Moon covers a large portion of the Sun, so this is a spectacular sight! Viewing is weather permitting. Registration is required so that we can inform you of any changes to this program. Please only register your child(ren.
