BELMONT HILLS Solar Eclipse Program
The annular solar eclipse should be starting around 12:05PM in our area on October 14, and, weather permitting, we should be able to see it! Stop by the library first for a fun craft/activity, and to get a free pair of solar eclipse glasses, then head outside to check out the eclipse (which should be ending approximately 2:37PM). We'll also be offering a program on Saturday April 6, 2024, in anticipation of the April 8 total solar eclipse, which will start in our area at 2:08PM; no worries if you lose you eclipse glasses, as we'll have plenty to hand out in April). If you won't be able to make the program but would like a pair of solar eclipse glasses, just call the library (610-664-8427) to be put on the list to receive a pair.
